Our association...
Tocadanses is a non-profit organization (under the French Law of 1901) whose aim is to promote Argentine Tango and to offer you the best services in terms of courses, workshops and events.
You benefit from a wide range of options in a program designed for solid and rapid technical acquisition.
The association's objective is to support each member in the path that suits them best with very attractive rates.
The full and complete involvement of our staff emphasizes the quality of services and offers.
Conviviality and festive moments remain central to promoting Argentine tango and instilling its philosophy. For this reason, events, milongas, and practice sessions are special occasions accessible to everyone from the very beginning.
Founded in 2008, our association aims to teach and promote Argentine tango in an associative and social spirit.
Since the 2021/2022 season, Tocadanses has been offering an innovative and unique formula in Poitiers: intensive workshops once a month, taught by a couple of maestros (Cécile ROUANNE & Rémi ESTERLE), and weekly classes/workshops.
In parallel, we regularly organize events, such as milongas (tango balls), workshops led by maestros, and since 2017 a festival "the "48h of Poitiers" which brings together regional, national, and even international tango actors, dancers, and actresses for a non-stop weekend.
We are committed to passing on the culture of Argentine tango while preserving its popular vocation, its social role and its conviviality, and to offering quality teaching with a pedagogy adapted to each individual.
