Cécile Rouanne and Rémi Esterle

Trained at the Alvin Ailey Dance School of New York, Cécile has been guided throughout her career by a desire to be open to all forms of dance (classical, jazz, modern, Russian and Armenian) before discovering tango .
After a career as an acrobat, Rémi turned to contemporary dance and worked for choreographers Sylvie Guillermin and Jacky Taffanel. Following a foray into hip-hop, he has dedicated himself to Argentine tango since 2009. After a stint with Catherine Berbessou's company, he founded the Tres Esquinas company in 2014.

It was in Buenos Aires that Cécile Rémi and her partner underwent their tango training together. First in tango salón with Carlitos Perez, Fabian Peralta and Virginia Pandolfi, then in tango escenario with Vanesa Villalba & Facundo Piñero.

Together in 2014, they won the titles of French tango salón champions and European tango escenario vice-champions.

The founding principle of their teaching is the link between technique and musicality to create connection within the couple. They have a progressive approach to learning in order to allow all their students to reach their full potential while respecting their own body as well as that of their partner.
